If cutler is good for one thing, it's a turnover. For all of the jake haters, that were calling for cutler, well, there-ya-go!
Seems it's either feast or famine with cutler. And this IS year 3! Maybe now that his diabetes has been controlled, he should get his eyes checked to make sure he's not color blind.
Until he can look off the defenders, instead of staring down his receivers, he's going to continue to have balls batted down, and/or intercepted.
Is cutler 'cutting it'? I dunno.

I think Jay and this young team is going through its first challenge of how to deal with national attention of being a team with flashes of greatness. The Broncos as a team and Jay as a leader has let the individual attention allow them to play poorly and not focus on being a team. The greatness of New England showed through last year when they were all about playing as a team and damn whoever got in their way...granted they lost focus in that most important game, but that formula for greatness still works if you have the talent, and the Broncos do, just not quite the right mind set.

I've been trying to put my finger on exactly what is eating Jay. The guy just looks like he has not been enjoying the games as much as he did when he was always an underdog at Vanderbilt. The comments about Elway from my understanding of it, was that they were made tongue in cheek and he was laughing when talking about arm strength. On the field, Jay has more talent than 95% of NFL QB's currently playing I believe. The problem is, on this team the effort he is giving, day in and out is not translating to all players in the locker room and for this reason I think you are sensing his disappointment. You may find this odd, but light a fire under my ass if I was Tim Crowder with his size and speed, and I will guarantee you I pressure a QB. I swear when you see Jay on the sidelines when the Defense is on the field, the guy is crossing his fingers and holding his breath that we make a stop. That said, Jay is still finding his way and place within Denver, and that in time you will truly see a quarterback that by my estimation will lead Denver to the promise land of Silver Lombardi's.

I agree with dbroncos in that he tries to force the ball in to a certain receiver on specific plays (most of the time that's Marshall). I also believe that his accuracy in the 15+ yds (in the air) range has been off. Most notably during the Jacksonville game he was chronically overthrowing his receivers.
In the NFL you have to have the arm (check), the O-Line (check), the smarts (check), and the accuracy -- especially deep. Yes, Phyllis Rivers is a d-bag, but he throws a great deep ball. I've seen Cutler do it, but not since Marshall's touchdown in the NO game.

I said this before, but I agree. This is a perfect time for a Bye week coming up.

I think in order for Cutler to get focused back on football, is to take a week off of it.

It's just like any project in any profession... When you are putting something together and you run into a block of one kind or another, the things that usually clear up your head...don't have to do with that project.

I think he's going to be blood thirsty against Miami.

Yea he just needs to get back to what made him successful. He needs to look at the Oakland game an realize that he can succeed without throwing to Brandon Marshall. Then he needs to realize, that yes i have Brandon Marshall which gives me even more. Obviously there is more but every time something bad happens it seems like they say the same thing on ESPN, "Cutler was telegraphing his pass to Marshall".

Super bowl? Unfortunately this year, I don't think so. The defense is not enough better than last year to do it. Personally at this point I am actually blaming the coach and not the players, because I feel like the zone scheme he's running has too high of a reliance upon the safeties and our safeties do not excite.
