History Misquoated....

The Raiders had a deal with the Baltimore Colts to send Elway to Oakland but the Donko's intercepted the deal and stoled Elway away from MrDavis....than later when Elway was about to be free from the MuleHeads and fulfil his dream of playing for the Raiders his wife thretend to devorce him and said he would never get her daddies money....so he satyed and when he retired and got all that car business from daddy-in-law he sold everything and vacated.....

The Rest of the story....and now if the Raiders had gotten Elway back when we would have been in every "SB" from then on because we had the quality players to support him....and we know how to play "D".....

Flores.....Lamonica....Blanda....Stabler....Hostetler....Gannon....Culpepper....Russel....

And when was the last time the Raiders had a great QB? Chokin' Gannon? We all know how Al Davis felt about Elway. That's twice he failed to snag a superior athlete from a hated rival. Go wipe your sniveling nose on that worthless Stabler jersey you have. And keep it handy. You'll be doing lots of crying this week!

Ya...ShanaRat really got alot out of Jake-da-Fake now didn't he....you have only had one good "QB" in your history and he came from Stanford which by the way is somewhat close to OakTown as I remember....the only other winning QB was Mortan who came from Texas but was never a great QB....where is he in the NFL history books....NOT a Hall-o-Famer now is he.....

Art Shell would have ruined Cutler. Mike Shanahan's ability to get the most out of his QB cannot be overlooked.

Leinart doesn't have the kind of arm that Davis wants; Cutler does. At that point, they still felt like Andrew Walter was the quarterback of the future. A year later, we see what future that was: The future of "I am a statue, please sack me now".

Lots of good things are being said about Cutler across the league after his performance at Buffalo. I hope he keeps it up.

Hell, they'd be light years ahead if they had taken either Leinart or Cutler. Picking Michael Huff in that spot and banking their future on Aaron Brooks was one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen.
